How this website measures visits
Last updated: September 2, 2026
This website was built by Vulken. We count visits so the owner can see whether their website is working. We do not sell that information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to follow you to other websites.
What is measured
When you open a page on this website, we record:
- Which pages you looked at, and when.
- Roughly where you are, from your IP address — usually the city. We do not store your IP address itself.
- Which website or app sent you here, if any, such as a search engine or a social network.
- What kind of device you used: phone or computer, the browser, and the screen size.
What is not measured
- Your name, email address, or phone number.
- Anything you do on other websites.
- Anything you type, unless you deliberately submit a form.
- Your exact location.
If you fill in a contact or booking form, that is different: those details go to the business so it can reply to you. That is between you and them.
Who can see it
The owner of this website, and Vulken as the company that runs the website for them. Nobody else. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertising networks.
How you are counted
To count one person visiting three pages as one visit rather than three, we need some way to tell visits apart. We use one of two methods, depending on where you are.
In most of the world, your browser keeps a random label so we can tell a returning visit from a new one. It is a random string. It is not linked to your name and it means nothing on any other website.
In the EU, the UK, Quebec, Brazil, South Korea and China, nothing is stored on your device at all. Instead we work out a temporary code from your network address and browser, mixed with a secret that is thrown away every day. Once that secret is gone the code cannot be recreated, so those visits cannot be linked together after the fact, even by us.
Turning it off
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it: nothing is stored on your device, whatever country you are in. Blocking scripts or using a browser that blocks trackers also works — the site itself will keep working normally.
How long it is kept
Individual visit records are kept for a short window and then rolled up into daily counts. The daily counts are what the business owner sees in their dashboard.
